It is easy to install, without machine work, simply screwed to the furniture surface or to the wall using wall plugs (screws, wall plugs and assembly instructions are included). Once installed, the board is folded out to a horizontal position and secured with the support underneath. It includes a board cover, but it can be removed to clean and preserve it easily.
