Metal contact touch sensor specially made with light and handy plastic. This sensor has a matte white design to avoid being detected by the naked eye.
The end of the mechanism is made of metal and has a total circumference of Ø4.2 millimeters, through which it will report the contact by means of a cable with a length of 1.5 meters long. At the other end, there is a box with dimensions of 90 mm long x 17 mm high x 40 mm wide.
Its power is 500 watts, with input and output of 220-240V AC.
A total of 10 ready-to-install units are included, which can be adapted with any Emuca lighting system.
The main difference is the position they are fitted in during installation. The 12V sensors (Twelfy) are placed between the light and the converter. Consequently, the converter is always working. The 240V sensors (Red eye) are placed between the converter and the electric socket. The big advantage of a 12 V sensor (Twelfy) is that is makes it possible to connect with a single converter (maximum admissible power 40W), on the other hand the 240V sensors (Red eye) need two converters.
The Red Eye sensors that functions at 240V AC are different in accordance with their functionality and your needs."I need a sensor that turns on and off the light like a switch but without physically touching the furniture".
SWITCH. Red Eye 1 (switch) Code. 7001520. An ON/OFF proximity detection system that turns on or off when its detection range of 5 cm is triggered."I need a sensor that turns on lights when it detects the movement of a human body and turns off automatically after a while, providing that it does not detect the movement of a human body, ideal for walk-in wardrobes".
MOTION. Red Eye 4 (movement) Code. 7001820. A movement detection system, it turns on when the detection range of 2.5 m IS triggered and the switching off can be adjusted between 10 seconds and 3 minutes."I need a sensor that turns on the light through contact with a metallic surface, ideal for bed headboards".
METAL. Red Eye 5 (touch) Code. 7001920. Detection system through contact with a metal surface. Adjustable detection ranges and/or functioning according to needs.
The cover screw should be used if you do not have another metallic surface for activating the touch sensor, it is also the most preferred aesthetic option. However, the Red Eye 5 metal touch sensor can be connected to any metal item in order to activate the sensor, for example the light fitting itself.
